​​The theme for this years event is The Roaring 20's when Al Capone's southside Chicago gang oversaw the smuggling of booze into the underground bars which were referred to as a speakeasy.

Our very own Kat Capone, barber and globally recognized photographer, will be providing 1920's mafia inspired photography of your gangster mug...or mugshot. Every contestant will receive their high-resolution digital image as our gift to you! That's the Kat's Meow right there!

  • Costumes Provided

We have pinstriped suits, hats, fake money, and much more for you! All you need to do is show up!

  • Prizes:

    • The Bee's Knees! Contestants are also eligible to win prizes from local businesses & sponsors!

  • To Enter:

    • Entrance Fee/Donation: $20

    • Each Vote: $5

    • Donations are also greatly appreciated!

How it works:

1: Sign up for the contest! Fill out our entry form below with a $20 donation 

2: Come to the barbershop on either May 17th or May 18th from 4 pm to 8 pm to get photographed. We provide costuming and props for you.

3: Processing: Your portrait will be retouched and posted on this page for voting.

4: Voting Begins Online: 

     Tuesday, May 21st: $5 per vote.

     Voting Ends:

     Friday, May 31st, at Midnight!

     Go campaign tell everyone to go online to vote for you ...and then vote for yourself a few times 😉

5: The winners and prizes will be announced: 

     Saturday, June 1st

6: Prizes!!!

     All contestants receive a digital file of their professional portrait. 

     All winners come into the shop to pick up their prizes during our shop hours.
